Robert "Bob" Montgomery is a pioneer of the watersports industry; Surfing, Jetski, and JetSurfing.

In 1961 while just an eary teen, Bob was on the famous California Duke Surfing Team. Duke is known as The Father Of Surfing, and along with other great sufers like Chuck Dent and Dewey Weber, they made a powerful team to say the least. Bob was one of the first charter members of the Huntington Beach Surf Association and placed second by just two points behind Jock Sutherland at the Huntington Beach USSA Surf Contest: the same year Jock would go on to capture the World Title.

Bob is known as an extreme athlete and surf industry businessman for the last 40 years. His expertise has focused on taking products from concept, hands-on through design, pre-production to production, manufacturing, marketing and sales, all the way into the marketplace successfully.​

Bob's innovations within the marine industry has earned him the induction into the Hall of Fame Jetskis with the IJSBA (International Jet Sports Boating Association) and the Wake of Fame by the International Boating Association, for pioneering the sports of jetskiing and jetboarding.
