The location is ideal for surfers, yoga enthusiasts and their families...as well as those that love the convenience of walking out the door onto a beautiful white sandy beach. Chacala is a small safe fishing village 60 miles north of Puerto Vallarta and 30 miles north of Sayulita. The town sits on a deep beautiful bay that’s absolutely a visual sensation. In town there are restaurants and grocery stores. A short distance are two premier surf breaks: Cholorin and Caleta. Colorin is a full barrel that breaks mainly on a south swell. Coleta, a few hundred yards north, is a point break that pulls in surf year round. Surf can also be found to the north at Playa Tortuga, Santa Cruz and Manichin bay in San Blass. The surf breaks are uncrowded and extremely fun.
This compound includes a 3 bedroom / 5 bathroom main house, 2 bedroom / 1 bath casita, 1 bedroom / 1 bath casita and all three units have full kitchens and are connected to solar panels. On the corner of the property is a commercial building that used to be the town liquor store and the owners still maintain a beer and wine license but the building is presently being rented as a restaurant. There is a full time caretaker that maintains the grounds, cleans the rooms and common areas daily and welcomes the guests.
