INTERNATIONAL SURF PROPERTIES SPONSORS SURF HERITAGE & CULTURE CENTER
International Surf Properties (ISP), working under the Coldwell Banker brokerage network, announced today that the real estate group is now on
board as a corporate sponsor of the Surfing Heritage & Culture Center (SHACC) in San Clemente, California.
Henry Ford, a legendary California surfer and Director of Business Development for ISP, is a long-time supporter of SHACC. Having served as a docent and member of numerous volunteer committees for more many years, Ford, together with ISP business partner Jim Habig, approached SHACC to offer sponsorship support
“We’re very excited about this opportunity to sponsor SHACC, the world’s premiere surf museum,” said Ford. Our vision is to co-develop programs that will help raise funds to support SHACC’s mission and commitment to the global surfing community.”
SHACC’s newly appointed Executive Director, Glenn Brumage, sees the sponsorship as a great fit. “Henry’s dedicated volunteer work has contributed immensely to SHACC’s growth and success over the years,” Brumage said.
“We’re stoked and appreciative of this new relationship and confident that Henry and Jim will make a positive impact moving forward.” In addition to financial support, ISP’s Ford and Habig will volunteer their time and energy to SHACC, serving on the museum’s Education Committee.
“Like Henry, I’ve been a stoked surfer since I was kid, and I have a genuine interest in helping to preserve and promote surfing’s colorful history and culture,” Habig said.
Jim and Henry will be volunteering with SHACC at the Surf Expo in Orlando, January 25 – 27, where they will raffle off a surf trip for two to the beautiful La Jolla de Guasacate premiere surf resort in Nicaragua and an amazing Lost Surfboard by Drew Bagget of Ancient City Epoxy donated by LATAM Aid Foundation.
