ABOUT
Since he was a kid Hunter has always looked to art as a means of self-expression and as a tool for emotional management. Through the use of artistic mediums such as sculpting, painting, drawing, & recently writing Hunter is at the point where he feels as though he can take his hobbies a few steps further, and shift his hobbies into a career. Having had an extremely challenging situation at home with two younger brothers with autism Hunter, in a sense, had to become the "man of the household" taking on adult responsibilities with his single mother at a very young age. However, through no small amount of effort, prospects are looking good for the first time in a long time.
This has given him the opportunity to pursue art as a means of escape while helping the family with the ever growing expenses. His career goal is to create beautiful art while raising autism awareness, this will not only help his brothers but other families facing the same dramatic challenges. Through his art and the connections he makes in the community Hunter is making a difference on how people look and understand autism, and hopes to be an example to others who have tough situations at home. Even if it seems like there's no escape from a limiting situation it can be turned around to be a great source of motivation and strength, while also opening your eyes to parts of life that most people can't even begin to comprehend.
