I try to participate in any art related event I can. I've helped other artists, such as the locally famous D.A. Metrov, create murals that are displayed in downtown Santa Barbara, enjoyed being invited to help out on some chalk drawings of Capri Italy in the I Madonnari Art Festival, displayed some pieces in Santa Barbara and Carpenteria , and have instructed high-school and elementary schoolers in both drawing and sculpting on numerous occasions. I'm looking forward to seeing just how much my experiences in the art community are going to vary depending where I am, who I'm with, and what I'm doing there. It's the most interesting and subjective business I've had the pleasure of participating in.

Instruction of Fellow Students in the Art of Sculpting

Hunter had the honor of teaching a series of classes on clay sculpting to
his fellow students at Santa Barbara High School, and has since been given
the opportunity to teach kids of varying ages both in and outside of the school

Santa Barbara Art Association Best of Show Award
​
The 2015 Grandparent Portrait Show, designed to connect students with their family roots and instill pride, attracted nearly 400 entries. Of these, 150 finalists were exhibited at the Faulkner Gallery. Eleven student artists whose submissions were judged to be outstanding were given awards and Ribbons of Merit.
