Grandparent Portrait Contest 'Best in Show'

"Kind, Gentle Spirit"

Sculpture that recieved 'Best in Show' in the Grandpa Portrait Show Contest held at the Faulkner gallery. There were over 400 entries, 150 finalists, and only 11 awards. It was a great feeling to have my art noticed, especially one centering on a subject that's close to my heart. He's set a good example of a man with strong will and integrity, yet caring and warm. While only saying a few words his presence alone is felt by everyone.
